We provide additional information, or links to event pages, as and when event organisers pass on that information.   If you are looking for additional information about an event organised by another group you are welcome to contact us and we will do our best to assist you:

27 Jan 2018: Burns Night – a 2-course dinner and all the ‘trimmings’

10 -11 Mar 2018:   Coll and the Cosmos – an astronomical adventure over 2 days

31 Mar 2018:   Easter Concert – a fun evening for locals and visitors alike

14 Apr 2018:   Music concert (Chamberlain & Haywood Duo – presented by Coll Music Group)

15 May 2018: Sophie & Sarah, Spring Highlands & Islands Tour 2018 – new and old folk songs about nature, love, loss and home

18-20 May 2018:   Coll Bird Festival – a fantastic 3-day event allowing you to get the most out of your visit, with guided walks, talks and boat trips amongst other events:

Friday

Guided walk with Ben & Dave – taking in parts of Coll you may never have visited -12:30pm for 3-4 hours

Dusk Watch Talk – 7:45pm

Dusk Watch – 9:00pm

Saturday

The Big Hunt – 8:30am or 9:30am – hunt for sand lizards and the rare short-necked oil beetle

Arinagour Guided Walk – 2:00pm

Buffet Meal (booking essential) – 5:30pm

An Evening of Talks – 6:15pm “from Coll to the Cairngorms” & “A sabbatical on Tristan da Cunha working on Albatrosses”

Ceilidh with Billy the Box & Friends – 8:15pm

Sunday

Seabird Safaris – limited availability to Lunga and Tiree (booking essential)

Beach Clean with BBQ – 1pm, Crossapol

9 Jun 2018: Jazz in the Village with Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer – sophisticated, melodic jazz with emphasis on improv

6 Jul – 8 Jul 2018:    Music Coll 2018 (presented by Tunnell Trust – a chamber music weekend of performances by young musicians at the start of their professional career)

3 Aug 2018:   Coll Agricultural Show

18-19 Aug 2018:   Coll Half Marathon

21 Aug 2018: Ranagri – a contemporary folk/world music band
