The Heart of Life on Coll
An Cridhe is the Isle of Coll’s brand new community centre, opened by HRH Princess Anne on 11th July 2012. An Cridhe means “the heart”, and the building is intended to be at the heart of life on Coll. It is a multi-purpose facility that caters for the many different needs of islanders and visitors.
An Cridhe makes an excellent venue for a variety of events from meetings and conferences to weddings, parties and ceilidhs. If you’ve got an idea for an event or are interested in holding a function then please don’t hesitate to get in touch – our friendly staff are on hand to help.

An Cridhe is open every day from 9am and is available for the local community and visitors alike. The main hall, stage, multi-function room, kitchen and bar are all available to hire and there is also a mini-gym and quiet room for general use.
